Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Content Distribution LLC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use the Aniverse app on iOS, Android and the web, and this website.

1. Who we are

Content Distribution LLC is a company registered in Mongolia. We operate the Aniverse anime streaming service and are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to provide Aniverse:

Account information

  • Email address and mobile phone number
  • Display name, date of birth and profile picture (avatar)
  • Password — stored only in hashed form; we never store it in plain text

Device and technical information

  • Device identifier, model and operating system
  • IP address
  • Push notification token
  • List of devices signed in to your account

Usage information

  • Viewing history and playback progress
  • Watchlist, ratings and comments
  • List of downloaded titles

Support requests

  • Information you send us when you contact support

3. How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain and improve Aniverse
  • Create and verify your account with one-time codes (OTP) sent by email or SMS
  • Keep your account secure, manage signed-in devices and prevent fraud and abuse
  • Show continue watching and personalized recommendations
  • Send notifications about new episodes and your account, if you allow them
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking. We share information only with the parties below, each of which must protect it to the same or equal standard as this policy:

  • Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver notifications
  • Service providers that send our email and SMS messages and host our infrastructure, under confidentiality obligations
  • Government authorities, when required by law

5. Retention and account deletion

We keep your information while your account is active.

You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account. Your account is then scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days. During this period you can cancel the deletion by signing in again. After 30 days, your account and the personal information linked to it are permanently deleted, except records we must keep by law.

6. Your rights

Under the Law of Mongolia on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal information and to withdraw your consent. You can update most account information in the app under Profile → Account information.

7. Children

Aniverse is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may use Aniverse only with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
